The discipline allows master's students to develop a broad scientific thinking, which they will be able to use for independent application of methods, techniques, and analysis tools in any area of scientific research. The main goal of the course is a more in-depth study of the physical and chemical laws of processes. Brief content: The most important physical and chemical theories and laws; The main laws and patterns of processes; Changes in the main thermodynamic functions during chemical reactions; Conditions for spontaneity of reactions; Properties of electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions; Fundamentals of chemical kinetics, catalysis, and electrochemistry.
